Overview

Building on the skills and abilities acquired during the B.A. programme, advanced subject and methodological skills will be obtained in the course of the Master programme. Courses in specialised didactics will enable future biology teachers at secondary schools to independently devise lessons according to the subject guidelines as well as to analyse and plan teaching and learning processes in the biology classroom after their studies have been enhanced and supplemented by the knowledge and skills acquired during the student teacher training period.

Details

The Master of Education (M.Ed.) is a 2-subject programme complemented by the subject Educational Studies. A second subject and Educational Studies are studied alongside Biology in the Master of Education programme.

Application

Requirement: You need a counseling interview with the programme´s student counselor before registration. In some Master-Programmes there are more specific requirements. Please contact your student counselor.

More requirements: For admission you need a second subject since all MEd programmes are 2-subject programmes.
