EUROCVD-15, September 4 - 9, 2005, Bochum - Germany
Travel Information:

Bochum is situated approximately 50 km (40 minutes) from Düsseldorf International Airport (DUS), about 100 km (90 minutes) from Cologne airport (CGN), about 20 km (30 minutes) from Dortmund airport (DTM) and about 300 km (3 hours) from Frankfurt Airport. All four major airports have excellent train connections to Bochum.

Düsseldorf Airport to Bochum Hauptbahnhof (main railway station)

From any of the terminals take the free airport shuttle to the train station (Flughafen bahnhof). From there you can buy a "Zone C" ticket and you must remember to validate (time stamp) the ticket before boarding the train. There are plenty of trains from this station to Bochum HbF. The Zone C ticket is valid on S-Bahn, Regional Express (RE) and Inter Region (IR) trains. If you take an Intercity (IC) or Inter city Express (ICE) train then you will have to pay a higher fare. Tickets can be bought using cash or credit card (Geld-Karte) at the vending machines

Taxi
You can also take a taxi from Düsseldorf airport to Bochum at a cost of around 75 Euro.
