27. 3. 2007 E-Health Ethik: Ziele und Aufgaben E-Health umfasst Bereiche des Internet, die laienverständlich über Gesundheitsvorsorge und -verbesserung informieren und beraten; dazu gehören medizinische Information und Beratung, auch die Selbstdiagnose, die Behandlung und Begleitung von akuten und chronischen Erkrankungen – vorzugsweise interaktiv und von Laien aktiv mitgestaltet. E-Health kann zu Modifikationen im individuellen Gesundheitsverhalten und im Gesundheitssystem führen. E-Health Ethik analysiert die ethischen und kulturellen Aspekte dieser möglichen Änderungen von Gesundheitskultur und -kommunikation. Zu Mitarbeit und Kommentaren wird eingeladen. Der Aufbau dieser

communicates
health
information and advice to lay people using the internet in an easy to
understand language, promotes individual health care competence by
de-professionalizing vast areas of previously privileged knowledge,
creates new global rooms for interactive cyberspace communities, and
thus may change individual and cultural attitudes towards health and
disease and traditional systems of providing and financing the
treatment of sickness. E-Health addresses issues of individual wellness
and wellbeing, not just medical issues in health care. Of ethical
concern are issues related to misleading information, deception,
incompetence, and other unfair business practices, in part similar and
in part different to those in traditional health care services.
E-Health Ethics analyzes these ethical and cultural modifications in
health care culture and invites contributions and comments.
