Notes for Applications

Stipends are awarded to Medical Students (must have the 1. Staatsexamen, duration: 1 year) and to Natural Scientists holding a Diploma or Master of Science in Biology, Chemistry/ Biochemistry, Physics (duration: 3 years). Students of Medicine are expected to actively participate in GK events during the funding period.

Selection criteria are the ranks/marks of the previous exams, the scientific quality of the Diploma/Master thesis, reasonably short duration of BSc/MSc periods, and of course a special interest in Developmental Neurobiology and experimental research. Applicants will be interviewed and the interview will ideally include a brief presentation of previous research work (e.g. the Master Thesis).

Candidates should not be older than 28 years.
