Training objectives

  • Development of an interdisciplinary training program within the field of bioelectrochemistry from which research and industry will benefit in the long-term.
  • Efficient training and personal development of 11 ESRs and 4 ERs via provision of outstan­ding research facilities and opportunities to conduct research work at the highest scientific levels
  • Effective inter- and multi-disciplinary working skills and strategies for 11 ESRs and 4 ERs
  • Development of the confidence and the ability to take ownership of their projects and to transfer this knowledge and culture to the supervision and development of others in the team
  • Development of individuals with skills needed for full-time employment in industry and/or academia to strengthen the ERA
  • Networking between the research groups represented by the ITN fellows for further long-term collaboration.
