Pecan Pie

preheat oven to 375 F [190 C].

Ingredients: 2 eggs 1/2 cup sugar 2 Tbsp. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 2 Tbsp. [30 grams] butter 2 tsp. vanilla 1 cup white corn syrup 1 1/2 cup pecans (a single pie crust)

Beat eggs thoroughly. Combine all ingredients except pecans and beat until well mixed. Add pecans and pour into an unbaked pie crust. Bake 35-40 minutes.

This recipe was from Mildren Tabor, a neighbor of my mother's in South Carolina about the time I was born. My mother requests one of these for her `birthday cake' every year!
