The Scholarship Fund is going into its fourth round: from the Winter Semester 2012/2013 we will once again be awarding scholarships from the national (Deutschlandstipendium) and state (NRW-Stipendium) scholarship programmes. Students who perform outstandingly academically and are involved in special social engagement can each receive € 300 per month for a year from the Ruhr-Universität Scholarship Fund.
The scholarships are made available by companies, institutions and individuals, and the amounts are matched by funds from the national and NRW governments. With the help of our sponsors, we want to contribute to developing a scholarship culture in our country and increasing the desire of talented young people to study.
This scholarship is intended to be a contribution to your living costs. Ideally, it should lead to your being able to concentrate on your studies and, for example, finance a year abroad. We want to improve your studying conditions with these scholarships.
The online application procedure for reapplications (present scholarship students) starts on 23rd April 2012; for first-time applicants and those changing courses on 7th May 2012; for high-school graduates in August 2012.
