Research Program
Within the project
group A the SFB investigates questions closely related to electrode
phenomena, mechanisms of anomalous transport, or generation of radiation.
The project group B comprises
diagnostic methods for the analysis of radiation emitted or scattered from
the low temperature plasma.
Finally, the third project
group C studies the important phenomena which occur in the low temperature
plasma in parameter ranges beyond the domain of linear instabilities. Here,
the investigations have the main focus on numerical methods.
