Dr. Walter Jochmann

Chief Executive Officer, Kienbaum Management Consultants GmbH

Dr. Jochmann studied Psychology in Bochum, earning his doctoral degree with a dissertation on the motivation of top-level managers in considering career changes. He has been with the Kienbaum group since 1983. Since 1997/98 Dr. Jochmann has been Chief Executive Officer of the Kienbaum Management Consultants GmbH which bundles the consulting services of the Kienbaum group. Since 1999 he has been Managing Director of the Kienbaum Holding.

He also leads the Human Resource Management strategic business field including the specialist fields HR strategy and organisation, diagnostics, training and coaching as well as PE processes and instruments. He is the author of many publications on topics relating to Human Resources Management and he is an expert in terms of the moderation and process consulting of significant restructurings (Strategic Reorientation, Post Merger Integration) as well as of the reorientation of human resources departments (vision, systems of objectives, products and processes, organisational structure, Balanced Scorecard).

Recently, he has dedicated himself to the question of how the role of personnel work in the success of a company and the fiscal value of Human Assets can be included in traditional methods of evaluating a company.
