Frank Goosen, Cabaret Artist and Author
Between 1986 and 1992 Frank Goosen completed his M.A. in History, German Studies and Politics at the RUB.
From 1992 to 2000 he, together with Jochen Malmsheimer, gave almost 1000 performances of their programme "Tresenlesen”. Since then he has been working as a solo cabaret artist. In 2001, he published his debut novel "Liegen lernen", which hit the cinema screens in 2003. That same year his second novel „Pokorny lacht“ appeared. In 2004 Frank Goosen published a collection of short stories and columns with the title “Mein Ich und sein Leben” (My self and its life). In addition, he is the author of several short stories and articles for newspapers such as the FAZ, Die Welt, taz and winner of the "Literaturpreis Ruhrgebiet".
